Research overview
SLAM brings together three independent research groups exploring structured light, matter and their interactions.
Based in the Department of Physics at the University of Naples Federico II, the cluster connects research in nonlinear spectroscopy, structured photons and photonic devices. Each group pursues its own research programme, building on a shared scientific history and opportunities for collaboration and shared use of resources.
Our research groups

Nonlinear Spectroscopy and Structured Matter
Ultrafast nonlinear spectroscopy of structured and condensed matter, from surface-sensitive optical techniques to intense terahertz fields.
